ASTM A335 P11 / P22 / P91 Alloy Steel Seamless Pipe

ASTM A335 (ASME SA335) seamless ferritic alloy steel pipe is engineered for high-temperature and high-pressure steam service in power generation stations, petroleum refineries, and petrochemical cracking furnaces. Seamless Steel Industries stocks and supplies Grades P11, P22, and P91 in standard and heavy wall thicknesses with mandatory heat treatment and certification.

Metallurgical Integrity & Creep Strength

Chromium-Molybdenum alloys provide elevated resistance to creep rupture and hydrogen attack at operating temperatures ranging from 500°C to 650°C. Grade P11 (1.25% Cr, 0.5% Mo) and Grade P22 (2.25% Cr, 1% Mo) are the industry standard for intermediate temperature steam conduits, while Grade P91 (9% Cr, 1% Mo with Vanadium micro-alloying) delivers exceptional creep resistance for modern supercritical thermal power headers and main steam lines.

Testing, Quality Assurance & IBR Compliance

Materials undergo rigorous non-destructive examination including 100% Ultrasonic Testing (UT), hydrostatic pressure testing, and Brinell hardness verification (maximum 250 HBW for P91). Supplied with Mill Test Certificates conforming to EN 10204 3.1 with complete ladle chemical analysis and mechanical values. All boiler-bound consignments include statutory Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR 1950) Form III-A documentation.

Logistics & Centralized Dispatch

Consignments are staged, bundle-strapped with protective bevel guards, and dispatched directly from our centralized storage and logistics facility in Kalyan Phata, Mumbai–Thane, Maharashtra 400612. Coordinated freight delivery is provided across national project corridors with optional Third-Party Inspection (TPI) prior to release.
